On
this tour you’ll see first hand that Dutch cuisine isn’t simply all about the
stroopwafel whilst we wind our way through historical streets and visit some amazing
hidden gems along the way.

From
19th century bakeries to more contemporary cafeas, your friendly
foodie tour guide will entertain and educate on the fabulous history of some of
Hollands sumptuous delicacies.

First
you will visit the Spui district, meeting a fourth generation family-run business
that has been creating incredible dishes since 1898.

Winding
through these historical streets, next we’ll be treated to a tasty Dutch apple
pie and coffee at a historical “brown cafe,” which has been serving locals and
tourists since 1921.

From
there, we’ll take a leisurely stroll through the Spui area and indulge in some
of Holland’s famous street food. First, we’ll pop by a family-run stand that’s
been serving up delectable herring and kibbeling since 1980.

We’ll
stroll along the canals and venture onto De Negen Straatjes (which translates
as “the Nine Streets”) in search of the classic Dutch cookies known as koekjes.

We’ll finish the tour
heading across the bridge to Jordaan, an area of Amsterdam that dates back
centuries. Here, we’ll take you to our favorite family-run delicatessen and
sample some incredible regional cheeses
