In this 5.5-hour combo tour, you will explore the largest museum of the Netherlands – Rijksmuseum, followed by a walk focusing on the life of the world-famous painter Rembrandt, including skip-the-line entry to Rembrandt Museum.

First, you will explore the Rijksmuseum with over 8000 paintings, artefacts, objects of Dutch history and art centuries. Here you can admire paintings of world-famous artists from Dutch Golden Age like Rembrandt and Vermeer. The museum also boasts a wide range of historical items, from dollhouses to a captured British warship.

After lunch, we will have a Rembrandt-themed walk and delve into the life of this iconic Dutch artist. Strolling through the Emperor’s Canal, we will discuss one of Rembrandt’s most successful apprentices.

At Rembrandt Square, you can see not only the Rembrandt sculpture but also “Night Watch Guards” sculptures. These are the characters in one of his most popular works.

To get insights into the more intimate side of his life, we cannot miss his house which still stands as Rembrandt Museum today. Here you will see Rembrandt’s studio and how he produced his works.
