The tour begins with your guide illustrating the Museo dell’Opera del Duomo with the original Porta del Paradiso, Donatello’s La Maddalena, Michelangelo’s Pietà, and many other Renaissance and medieval works.
We will have priority access to visit Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, one of the largest cathedrals in the world! We will descend together in the crypt of Santa Reparata, which was the ancient Cathedral of Florence.
It will then be the turn of the Baptistery of San Giovanni, with its famous golden vault of Byzantine mosaics.
Finally, your guide will accompany you to the entrance door of the Dome of Filippo Brunelleschi. You will climb to the Dome on your own, and discover the mystery of this revolutionary building, its 16th century frescoes with the famous Last Judgment.
