One of the most remarkable structures in Italy is the Castel Sant’ Angelo, or “Castle of the Holy Angel.”
The monument, which was initially constructed in 185 as a mausoleum for the Roman emperor Hadrian, served as a military structure and a haven for popes during the sieges in 1527.

You will have access to the chamber of ashes and the cells where many historical figures were imprisoned. The structure is divided into five floors and connected by a spiral ramp.
