This is a combination of a walking tour of Venice including both the most famous sights and hidden parts, and a gondola ride uncovering romantic canals and corners from the water.
First, you will take a historical walk through the most important highlights of Venice from Piazza San Marco to Rialto Bridge.
Along the way, we will go through the secrets of Casanova, discover the treasures stolen from Constantinople, the relations with the East and the legend of San Marco. Unveil many mysteries about Marco Polo and the Silk Road.
In the afternoon, enjoy a gondola ride crossing the Grand Canal and its minor waterways reachable only by this special boat. During the ride, you will hear about the history of the Palaces, gondola and gondoliers from your guide.
On the gondola, you can admire the Fenice Opera House, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute. And immerse in a breathtaking view of Piazza San Marco from the water!
At the end of the gondola ride, you will receive a QR code to download a digital map with 2D images of Venice from the middle ages until the 18th century.
