Tasting and celebrating local wines in style with a professional sommelier in a 2-hour tour! You will go through a flavour journey with the finest wines from around Catalonia and a delicious range of tapas. 

Spain is one of the world’s most famous wine growing countries. Each Destination of Origin in Spain has a unique flavour. While Rioja wine appellation is famous for its gorgeous, deep red wine; on the other hand Penedes wine appellation in the Catalonian countryside has its summer white wine and world-renowned Cava. With temperate Mediterranean climate, Catalonia has thin skinned grapes such as Xarello

Meeting at a bar in the centre of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter, the sommelier will give you the history of each wine. Along the way, he will share fun facts about each wine. He will show you how to order the right wine and how to taste wine correctly.

You will have a tasting of 5 local wines from around Catalonia, ranging from the famous sparkling Cava, all the way through the crispy white wine and ending with deep red wine.

Matching the wines perfectly is some tapas. The sommelier will explain to you which food to pair with each wine and why.
