Join us in a 5.5-hour food tour in the backstreets and markets of the Gràcia district. We will visit markets, an old school bodega, cozy traditional haunts and creative contemporary restaurants to explore the deep culinary roots of Barcelona.

Strolling through the neighborhood, you can feel the Catalan spirit is still held onto strongly with Catalan flags flying from so many balconies or the distinct sound of the Catalan language heard in cafés and eateries.

The tour starts with a coffee and traditional cakes in a century-old sweets shop.

We will then eat our way through two of Barcelona’s most celebrated markets. Sample local cheeses and the finest Iberian ham. As locals do, we cannot miss a sip of artisan vermouth before lunch at an old bar.

Gràcia is home to not only atmospheric old school bars but also creative chefs giving a contemporary spin on traditional Catalan dishes. From the rustic to the refined places, we will taste delicious food and get more insights into the Catalan kitchen and Catalan daily life.
