Experience morning like a Valencian on a 3-hour morning traditions and food tour in the historic neighborhoods Mercado Central and El Carmen!

At each stop, you can feel and taste an important element of the cuisine of Valencia and Spain. Learn about the families and history behind each of the cafe, grocery shop and restaurant that you visit.

At exactly the peak time for many cafés, we will begin the tour with the most typical local breakfast.

You will then discover Valencia’s old stores and taste their fresh products. Visit the central market where we will have a taste of Iberian ham, olives, cheese and wine from the region.

Next we will go to a local bar and dive in a local brunch called “almuerzo” (second breakfast or mid-morning meal): the iconic Esmorzaret (mid-morning snacks). You will understand why the morning culinary tradition “almorzar” can’t exist outside of Valencia!!!

Finally, we finish up with a must-do local tradition, the delicious “Orchata”!
