Damnoen Saduak Floating Market & River Kwai Tour in Kanchanaburi

From GBP £71.00
  • Duration: 10 Hours (approx.)
  • Location: Bangkok
  • Product code: PMJKEP

Your day begins with a trip to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, one of the most famous floating markets in Thailand.

You’ll travel by minibus from central Bangkok for around 90 minutes to the south west of the city, and your local guide will tell you all about this vibrant part of Thailand before you begin exploring.

The Floating Market will be buzzing with life as local traders sell a wide variety of goods and food produce by the water’s edge in their traditional longtail boats. You can also board a paddleboat if you want to float instead of walk! Take in sights, sounds and smells of the market, and perhaps even pick up some snacks and bargain souvenirs.

Later, you'll head to the River Kwai at Kanchanaburi to visit the famous bridge over the River Kwai, where you will enjoy a tasty Thai lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, your guide will take you to the fascinating JEATH War Museum where you'll learn all about the infamous Death Railway, and you can also spend some time walking around the Allied War Cemetery where so many people were laid to rest.

After the tour your minibus will return you to Khaosan Road at around 18:30PM.
