What we will see & where we will be

On this private experience you will gain entry to the most famous gladiatorial arena in the world to see first hand the amazing engineering that went on behind the scenes for these contests.

However before entry we start outside the Colosseum for a 3-hour walking tour of the city to get you acquainted with the history and culture of the area. Be fascinated as your guide privately takes you through some of the stories and most entertaining moments that this incredible monument to history has to offer.

Next, make your way north with stops including the imposing Vittorio Emanuele \ II Monument. Be wowed by the Forum, the heart of the Roman Empire from 1900 years ago, and historic Palatine Hill.

Pause for some ice cream and a well deserved break before going through the heart of Rome. There, encounter the Pantheon, St Maria Sopra Minerva Basilica with its Michelangelo sculpture, the Palazzo Cipolla, and Piazza Navona for many photo opportunities around the famous fountains.

We finish the tour at the awe-inspiring square at the amazing huge baroque Trevi Fountain.

After the walking tour you will get Skip the line entry to The Colosseum so you can explore inside to your hearts content and follow in the footsteps of the fearless gladiators of Ancient Rome.

The tour is 5 hours in duration (3 hours Rome Walking Private Tour & 2 hours at The Colosseum. We will not accompany you inside The Colosseum)
