What we will see & where we will be

 

This is a fun Rome walking tour where you will see the top 30 Rome Attractions in 5 hours and craft the quintessential Italian pizza in a pizza-making cooking class. Relish your traditional dish with a drink at one of the most charming restaurants in the historic center of Rome.  

This tour takes you through Rome’s best known areas. We begin the tour outside the Colosseum, where gladiatorial fights were staged for hundreds of years your guide will regale you with stories and historical context to this magnificent building.

Then it’s time to head north from the Colosseum, and admire the sights along the way, including the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument, The Forum (heart of the Roman Empire 1900 years ago), and Palatine Hill.

After we take a well-deserved break for some ice cream before going through the heart of Rome. See the Piazza Novana, The Pantheon, St Maria Sopra Minerva Basilica (Michelangelo sculpture), Palazzo Cipolla, and the amazing huge baroque Trevi Fountain.

Stop and marvel at the Spanish Steps & see the famous Medici Villa. We then cross the Tiber. Bridges and sights you will see here include Ponte Sant’Angelo, Ponte Vittorio Emanuele II & the incredible Castel Sant’Angelo.  

We finish the tour at the awe-inspiring square at the amazing huge baroque Trevi Fountain.

After your walking tour you will make your way to Osteria Pasquino to start your pizza-making class, 

You can get a hands-on experience in pizza-making, but also the Italian restaurant experience, to enjoy the pizza you made. All this takes place in one of the most beautiful, mesmerizing areas of the Eternal City. 

The tour is 7 hours in duration (5 hours Rome Walking Tour & 2 hours pizza-making class).
