Koh Yao Cycling - Full Day

What we will see & where we will be

After being transferred from your hotel by van, you'll arrive at Bang Rong pier, a quaint port surrounded by mangrove forests and mainly used by longtail boats. Enjoy a scenic boat trip to Koh Yao Noi, Phuket's quiet neighbor, with the journey taking 30 to 60 minutes depending on the boat type. 

The morning ride, about 12 km, takes you through Koh Yao Noi's picturesque countryside. You'll bike through the island's main market town, mangrove forests, rubber plantations, and a stilted fishing village. A highlight is cycling through wide-open plains full of rice paddies, especially photogenic from July to December. Visit a family-run farm to learn about sustainable agriculture and refresh with fresh coconut juice.

At midday, savor a delicious Thai lunch at a beachside restaurant with stunning views of the Andaman Sea. After lunch, relax at the beach or walk to a nearby island, with swimming possible at high tide.

The 10 km afternoon ride is mostly on paved roads along the east coast, offering wide ocean views and glimpses of the Phi Phi Islands on clear days. You'll also stop at a palm oil plantation. This day blends nature, culture, and beach fun.

This Koh Yao Noi cycling tour does not include a support vehicle, but if you can't complete the full distance, a local taxi will transfer you to the next stop. The total cycling distance is approximately 22 km, with a few hidden biking trails included.

• The pace is not fast and our guides make regular stops
• This trip is suited for people with an average fitness level and is family-friendly (for children of 9 years onwards, or a minimum 140 cm tall) but please note it still is a physical effort in hot and humid conditions.

• Shoes fit for cycling (flip-flops not recommended)
• A small backpack to carry your personal items

Pickup is available for all hotels within Phuket. The tour operator will confirm the exact time via email, so please remember to check your email.

Plan to meet your tour guide in your hotel lobby at least 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.
