Strolling through the hip Gothic and Born areas, you will see what the locals enjoy eating in the morning and fully immerse in morning culinary habits, traditions and tapas culture that can be found in Spain only.

You can observe an authentic side of local life through a unique morning culinary tradition. People with all different kinds of work go to the cafés around 10 am to have a quick breakfast break! 

The tour starts with a typical “el almuerzo corto” (second breakfast) at exactly the peak time for many cafés. 

Next, we will visit an old traditional corner xurreria (churro shop) for warm crispy churros.

Then explore one of the most typical and high-quality food markets in town, away from the more touristy ones, and see some of the best fresh products of the region. Here you will dive in the tastings of jamon Iberico (Spanish ham), local cheeses, olives, and cava (local sparkling wine).

To finish up, at one of the most popular bodegas of the area, it is time for vermouth appetizer, an old tradition that came back into fashion a few years ago and became a hit with Barcelona’s residents.
