Madrid: Palacio de Liria Guided Tour

Brace yourselves for a tour of the palace, where you will see a magnificent private collection of European art.

The collection includes works by Joaquin Sorolla, Pietro Perugino, Titian, Palma il Vecchio, El Greco, Anthonis Mor, Murillo, Rembrandt, Jacob van Ruisdael, Ribera, Rubens, Francesco Guardi, Ingres, and Joshua Reynolds.

The Prado Museum purchased a notable Fra Angelico work (Virgin of the Pomegranate) in 2016. Admire the engravings by Dürer, Mantegna, Lucas van Leyden, and Van Dyck.

View bronze and marble sculptures from the Neoclassical era to the Roman Empire, including a Lorenzo Bartolini portrait of Gioacchino Rossini. Archaeological finds and decoration arts, such as Sèvres porcelain, Empire-style furniture, old armor and weaponry, and tapestries from the Gobelins Manufactory from the 18th century, are also on display.
