Madrilenos like eating traditional Madrilenian products and dishes. We want you to feel like a local on our walking food tour by experiencing picoteo in Madrid, the real and timeless art of bar-crawling and tapas sampling. Join us on a historical, cultural, and gastronomic journey across Madrid. We go where the locals go!
The term “picoteo” derives from the verb “picar,” which means to eat little nibbles from multiple shared plates. This is also known as a “tapeo” or tapas crawl. We’d like to introduce you to picoteo in Madrid!
We take you on a three-hour tour of the most emblematic attractions of one of Madrid’s most bustling neighborhoods in the early evening. Our culinary tour begins in a typical bodega serving exquisite Spanish tapas, a long-standing local favorite. During the next two stops, we sample some of Madrid’s best meat and seafood dishes, as well as some cool draft beer and local wines.
To round out our picoteo in Madrid, we dine at a typical restaurant serving northern Spanish food. It’s a family-owned treasure that specializes in Galician-style tapas.
