This is a fun Rome walking tour where you will see the top 30 Rome Attractions in 5 hours and book your skip-the-line entry ticket to the Borghese Gallery in Rome and discover the works of Bernini, Canova, Caravaggio, Titian, and other masters. Benefit from an escorted entrance before exploring the museum on your own. 

This tour takes you through Rome’s best known areas. We begin the tour outside the Colosseum, where gladiatorial fights were staged for hundreds of years your guide will regale you with stories and historical context to this magnificent building.

Then it’s time to head north from the Colosseum, and admire the sights along the way, including the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument, The Forum (heart of the Roman Empire 1900 years ago), and Palatine Hill.

After we take a well-deserved break for some ice cream before going through the heart of Rome. See the Piazza Novana, The Pantheon, St Maria Sopra Minerva Basilica (Michelangelo sculpture), Palazzo Cipolla, and the amazing huge baroque Trevi Fountain. 

Stop and marvel at the Spanish Steps & see the famous Medici Villa. We then cross the Tiber. Bridges and sights you will see here include Ponte Sant’Angelo, Ponte Vittorio Emanuele II & the incredible Castel Sant’Angelo. 

We finish the tour at the awe-inspiring square at the amazing huge baroque Trevi Fountain.

After your walking tour you will make your way to Piazzale del Museo Borghese to greet your host to get your Borghese Gallery ticket.

Save time as you walk past the long lines outside the gallery and step inside to start admiring the captivating treasures on display here. 

As you walk, marvel at the extensive collection of sculptures and paintings, including renowned works like Caravaggio’s “Saint Jerome Writing” and Raphael’s “Deposition.”

The tour is 7 hours in duration (5 hours Rome Walking Tour & 2 hours at Borghese Gallery). (We will not accompany you inside The Borghese Gallery)
